Cookn AI uses advanced Artificial Intelligence to generate recipes, nutrition facts, and pantry advice. AI is not human and can produce 'hallucinations'—information that appears factual but is incorrect or dangerous. AKI Tech LLC does not guarantee the accuracy of any content. You are solely responsible for verifying cooking temperatures, ingredient safety, and nutritional data before consumption.

Cooking involves inherent risks including heat, sharp objects, and foodborne illness. Cookn AI is an informational tool, not a professional chef or safety inspector. You agree to follow standard food safety guidelines (e.g., USDA/FDA/Health Canada) regarding internal temperatures and cross-contamination. AKI Tech LLC is not liable for kitchen accidents, fires, or illnesses resulting from following AI-generated instructions.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. All sales are final; refunds are at the sole discretion of the respective App Store provider.

Where Cookn AI offers 'unlimited' usage (such as unlimited AI recipe generation, pantry inventory scanning, or nutrition label scanning), this is defined as usage within the normal, reasonable, and humanly possible bounds for a single individual. Automated scraping, scripted usage, bot activity, account sharing, or generating requests at an excessively high volume that impacts our service or incurs unreasonable API costs is strictly prohibited.

By posting recipes, photos, or comments to the Cookn community, you grant AKI Tech LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, use, reproduce, and display your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You represent that you own all rights to the content you post.

You agree not to share content that is infringing on copyrights, defamatory, or illegal. We respect intellectual property rights and will respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with applicable law (including DMCA in the US and the 'Notice and Notice' regime in Canada).

AKI Tech LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or abuse of the AI generation features.

Cookn AI relies on third-party services (like Google Gemini, OpenAI, Firebase, and Instacart). We are not liable for any failure or delay in service resulting from API outages, server downtimes, internet service disruptions, or acts of God beyond our reasonable control.

These Terms are between you and AKI Tech LLC, not Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content, have no obligation to provide maintenance and support, and are not responsible for addressing any claims related to the App.

You agree to indemnify and hold AKI Tech LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE.' TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW (WHICH MAY VARY BY JURISDICTION, INCLUDING CANADA), AKI TECH LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BODILY INJURY OR DEATH, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON AI OUTPUTS.

Except where prohibited by law (which may include the province of Quebec and other jurisdictions), you agree that any dispute with AKI Tech LLC will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court. You waive your right to participate in a class-action lawsuit.

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in full effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AKI Tech LLC regarding the use of Cookn AI.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time without notice. Your continued use of the app after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
