To provide recipe generation and nutritional analysis, Cookn AI shares your non-identifiable inputs (recipe titles, ingredients, and food images) with third-party AI providers, specifically Google (Gemini AI) and OpenAI. • What is sent: Only the specific text or images you submit for analysis. • What is NOT sent: Your name, email, location, or any personal account identifiers. • Purpose: These providers process your data strictly to return recipe results and nutritional data. Consent & Third-Party Protection: We obtain your explicit permission before transmitting any data to these services for the first time. We confirm that any third-party AI provider we share data with provides the same or equal level of data protection as outlined in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal identity data to train third-party AI models. Any data used for our internal model training is anonymized and stripped of personally identifiable information (PII).

• Instacart: If you use the "Shop on Instacart" feature, your shopping list data is shared with Instacart to facilitate your order. • RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. Your purchase history (not credit card info) is shared with them for billing purposes. • Security: We use Cloudflare and Firebase to protect against bots and unauthorized access.

We use tools like Google Analytics for Firebase to monitor app performance and crash reports. We do not track your activity across other third-party apps or websites (no cross-site tracking). This data is strictly used internally to improve the Cookn AI experience.

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers maintain facilities. By using Cookn AI, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules than in your country.

Cookn AI is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will delete it immediately.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is promptly removed. However, we reserve the right to retain or disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government request (e.g., subpoenas).
